This September we continue to highlight the late summer fruit harvest with the Pear & Fig Brown Butter Tart. Fresh BC pears are paired with a just-sweet-enough fig jam in our house-made pâte sucrée tart shell, and brown butter elevates the tart by giving it a rich, nutty essence. It’s all topped with a dollop of sweet mascarpone cream and a crispy pear slice.
