German Farmer’s Rye

German Farmer’s Rye, or Bauernbrot, is a hearty rye bread with a dense crumb, a chewy crust, and a rich, full flavor. A great source of fibre, and like all our rye, there is no added fat.
Just as in Germany, this loaf is available as a whole loaf, or a half loaf. Unsliced only. It is available on Wednesdays and Saturdays in June.

Dark Rye Flour, White Flour, Water, Light Rye Sour, Organic White Sour, Salt, Bread Spices (Fennel, Caraway, Star Anise), Yeast.
